Ryan

Founder & CEO

Ryan is the Founder & CEO of Atlantic Transmissions, where he leads the company’s technical direction, growth, and new development. With nearly two decades of experience in advanced diagnostics, programming, electrical systems, and complex drivetrain engineering, he focuses daily on solving difficult challenges and developing new capabilities for the company. Outside of work, he spends nearly all his free time studying emerging technologies, physics, and energy. He enjoys traveling the world, experiencing different foods and cultures, off-road riding, and spending time with his family. He deeply values life and believes tomorrow is never promised. That perspective shapes his morals. He treats people with compassion and respect, makes time for the people he loves, and refuses to lose his sense of gratitude.

Ben

Co-Owner & COO

Ben is the Co-Owner & COO of Atlantic Transmissions, where he leads daily operations, business management, team coordination, and much of the company’s public-facing customer experience. By age 19, he was already an assistant store manager at the largest tire franchise, building an early foundation in leadership, operations, and customer service. His technical background is equally strong, with extensive hands-on experience building 8L90 and modern 10-speed transmissions. Ben has played a major role in developing the systems and structure that allow Atlantic to operate efficiently as the company continues to grow. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and watching Buffalo Bills games.

Walker

6L80 Builder / R&R Truck Specialist

Walker joined Atlantic after making a career change from the telecommunications industry, returning to the mechanical work he had been interested in since high school. He specializes in 6L80 builds and removal and installation work on trucks, bringing a careful, methodical approach to every job. Walker values accuracy and attention to detail, taking the time to make sure the work is done right. Outside of the shop, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and loved ones.

Dave

Master Programmer / Electrical & Wiring Diagnostics

Dave brings more than three decades of experience diagnosing complex electrical faults, repairing modules, and solving difficult programming and network issues. A Navy veteran, he has spent much of his career working at the intersection of electronics, wiring, and vehicle computer systems. Dave jokes that he plans to go out with a scanner in his hand, which says a lot about how seriously he takes the craft. Outside of work, he is deeply family-oriented and enjoys spending time with them while continuing to study new computer and security technologies.

Jeff

Veteran R&R Specialist

Jeff is a veteran R&R specialist with more than four decades of hands-on experience in the transmission industry. Now mostly retired, he still enjoys coming into Atlantic from time to time to help with removal and installation work and lend his experience to the team. His years in the field give him a depth of practical knowledge that’s hard to replace. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys following American politics, bodybuilding, and studying religion.

Merrick

R&R Specialist / 4L60E Builder

Merrick is an R&R specialist and 4L60E builder with a serious talent for getting transmissions in and out efficiently. He’s become one of Atlantic’s go-to guys for removal and installation work, with the speed and attention to detail that keeps jobs moving. Outside the shop, Merrick is a husband and new father who enjoys spending time with his family, working on projects around the house, and staying mentally and physically active, with a focus on health and well-being. He brings a strong work ethic, mechanical ability, and a good attitude to the Atlantic team every day.

Renee

Accounting & Office Support

Renee helps keep Atlantic organized through accounting, filing, paperwork, and the everyday errands that keep the business moving. The mother of Ryan, Ben, and Ava, she considers raising strong, smart, and healthy children into the people they are today her greatest accomplishment. Proud of her Italian roots, she enjoys bringing the team together over authentic Italian meals she cooks herself. Outside of work, her favorite pastimes are doting on her children, cooking, and creating social media content.
